K-Mart Double Again

As most of you know K-Mart is doubling coupons up to and including $2.00 this week again. I decided to go today as I had other errands to run and I figured the store wouldn't be to crowded during working hours. I also figured they would be out of things that I was looking for but I expected that, which they were by the way.

I got all the above for a grand total of $7.68 after coupons.
Before coupons my total was $43.93, the lady behind me in line was so impressed with my total. She asked me where do you get all your coupons? My Dad is retired and delivers the newspaper for extra income, so I get all the leftover coupon inserts that he has..yippie for me.

My savings for the day was $36.25.

Looking for a deal on eyeglasses??

If you are on a budget but need new eyeglasses you are in luck. I have found the perfect website for you to check out...ZenniOptical. I've heard nothing but good feedback on this website.
The prices for inexpensive eyeglasses at Zenni Optical start at $8.00 per pair!
All orders are only $4.95 to ship, no matter how many pair of eyeglasses you buy. So now you can get every ones glasses at once at a reasonable price.

Even if you wear bifocal or progressive lenses, Zenni Optical has inexpensive eyeglasses for you. Bifocal eyeglasses start at $25.00 per pair. Progressive eyeglasses start at $37.00 per pair.

Yes, Zenni Optical even offers the special add ons that you can get from your local optical. Photochromic lenses (the lenses that turn darker in the sunlight) are only $39.00 more. Anti reflective coating for the lenses is a mere $4.95, too.

The frame styles are numerous at Zenni Optical. Most frames come in at least two or three colors. There are minimal frames, fashion frames, delicate frames and funky frames. You can find inexpensive eyeglasses frames to fit your every mood. Plus find frames for every one in your family at the same place.

Clothing

I recently found out about a new website geared toward clothing for the military and law enforcement. Although they can be worn by anyone. Check them out at 5.11 Tactical Pants.

With 20 years experience dealing with the military and law enforcement they have recently come out with a brand new line of pants that provide more comfort, more pockets to hold the stuff you need and they also have more maneuverability.
They state that they run true to size and have a cinch waist system that will tighten them up as you need. They are 60% cotton and 40 % polyester which makes them great for hot weather climates.

They are a great price and they have a nice look to them also.

How to save money on glasses

With the price of everything going up and no end in sight, we all need to save money where ever we can and a great place to save on your family's eyeglasses is ZenniOptical.
They have glasses that start at the low price of $8.00 and they have many styles to choose from.
This is a great way to get the whole family involved in saving money for something they need and maybe it will show them that they can save money elsewhere too.

This is one of the ways that my family has saved money this past year since I found about this great website, plus we now look good while saving money and I know it will do the same for you and you will certainly be happy with the glasses that you pic out.

ZenniOptical has even been mentioned in Google Books.

Mercedes-Benz

Breaking news!!! Mercedes-Benz has launched a sneak peek of their new line. Check it out at The new Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class

It's a small 5- passenger SUV and it will be able in January 2009. The GLK made it's debut in the movie Sex and the City so you may have seen it there and wondered who made it, well now you know.

This is a vehicle not like any other from Mercedes-Benz; this is something totally new and exciting from them. But still has that excellent Mercedes-Benz quality that we expect from them.

Check it out if you are interested in a new vehicle.

Weis 10/7/08

I had heard on a message board that I visit that when you buy the Renuzit Tri-Scents that a coupon would come out for $3.00 off your next order at Weis. Since the Tri-Scents are on sale this week for $6.99 and I had a $4.00 off coupon I decided to go pick some up.

My first Tri-Scent cost me $2.66, used $4.00 & a .75 cents coupon (weis off next order) that I had and I got the $3.00 off next order. So I did this same deal two more times and every time a $3.00 coupon would print off, so I used that along with my $4.00 coupon and only paid .41 tax each for the next 2 Tri-Scents.

The coffee was free with a Weis coupon. Plus I have a $3.00 off my next order.

Shelf price for the above $22.47
Out of pocket price $3.48
Savings of $18.99

I don't know what the cashier did on this order but some how my grand total came to exactly $0.00 so that entire order was free. I figured it should have come out to $1.82. After I got to work and checked my receipt it looks like she used my Febreze $5.00 coupon twice and there was 2 coupons that she never used. Oh well free is good for me..lol..best deal so far at CVS.
